Bootcamps

Many of our students come trained in a narrow discipline of neuroscience, and lack an understanding of laboratory practice in other disciplines. We think that neuroscience PhDs should have rudimentary facility in all areas of neuroscience. For this reason, we have established two laboratory methods boot camps for electrophysiology, and molecular biology. Each of these is an intensive one-week course in which lectures by expert instructors are integrated into hands-on laboratory experiments using cutting-edge equipment.
